Print Studios

I’ve begun my sabbatical (currently scheduled to end April 15th), and I’d like to share a list of print studios that people can use while I am taking a break from printing. I’m happy to share whatever files I have for your work with you or with another printer.

Here in Maine, I’d like to recommend Paper Tides in Phippsburg — I think what Emma is doing with this studio is most similar to how I have structured my own studio. I talked to her and she is accepting new clients.

Other Maine print studios with which I’m less familiar, but may be great, include (in alphabetical order):

Back Cove Studio in Portland

Digital ImageWorks in Waterville

Digitalprintmaker in Searsport

Grapheteria in Portland

Maine Photoworks in Portland

Two Crows Printing in Rockland

In the broader New England area, I can recommend:

Blazing Editions in Providence, RI

Digital Silver Imaging in Belmont, MA

Other New England studios (with which I do not have experience) include:

Acorn Editions, Framingham, MA

Cone Editions, East Topsham, VT

Madison Editions in Wrentham, MA

Palm Press in Medford, MA

Prints on Paper, Cabot, VT

Singer Editions in Boston, MA

Still River Editions in Danbury, CT

If you have others to recommend, please let me know and I’ll add it to the list!
